Reagan's Monkey Bread

My granddaughter Reagan and I have been making Monkey Bread for breakfast at the lake for years. From the time she was old enough to push a chair up to the counter to help, she has been at my side every time we have this delicious treat. After many attempts we think we have it perfected!!

Drenched in a gooey, ultra-smooth sauce, this perfected version of your favorite breakfast treat can be made the night before and let raise overnight.

1/4 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup brown sugar packed

We love Cinnamon!

Preparation

Prepare Bundt Pan by spraying generously with cooking spray

Sprinkle pecans and brown sugar in bottom of pan

Melt butter in small saucepan. Stir in heavy cream. Whisk until smooth. Set aside to cool.

In separate small bowl mix dry pudding mix, sugar and cinnamon.

Using a kitchen scissors cut dough into pieces approx 1-1/2 squares.

Roll dough pieces in pudding mixture until coated.

Place dough pieces in bundt pan on top of pecans.

Pour melted butter mixture over dough.

Cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

The next morning if dough isn't raised sufficiently sit at room temperature for an hour.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Place bundt pan on large baking sheet to catch any runoff spills of the caramel sauce.

Bake for30 - 35 minutes. Test for doneness by gently pulling apart 2 of the rolls from each other. The middle should be cooked through.

Let cool for 10 minutes before inverting on large platter or serving tray.
