2 tablespoons dried basil
2 tablespoons dried oregano
1 tablespoons dried rosemary
2 tablespoons dried parsley
1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon red chili flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Preparation
If using fresh dried herbs grind them individually in a mortar and pestal.
Mix all ingredients in small bowl. Store in airtight container.
Tip: I like to grow and dry herbs them grind them with a mortar and pestal. I have fresh herbs growing year round with my Aerogarden.
The herb blend can be stored in an airtight container and it will last for months. Unless you use it up quicker than that!! I like to use glass jelly jars for storing because they stack nicely in the pantry but a small plastic container would work as well. Just be sure that the lid seals tightly to keep the flavor.
I use this blend to make Garlic and Herb Marinade. Give it a try! You won't be disappointed.
