Grilled Shrimp

If you love shrimp, you will love this recipe for grilled shrimp. Marinate in Cilantro-Lime marinade and you have a quick, easy dinner bursting with flavor.

Grilled Shrimp

Ingredients

Ingredients:

2 lbs of peeled and deveined shrimp

3/4 c. Cilantro Lime Marinade

1 lime sliced

Preparation

Prepare the marinade if it isn't prepared in advance

Put shrimp in large ziploc bag

Add Marinade and lime slices.

Squeeze out excess air and seal.

Refrigerate 15 minutes to marinade.


GRILL shrimp on skewers or in a grill basket over medium heat, 3-4 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.


Grill the limes too - they are surprisingly very tasty and make a nice garnish.

Side serving suggestions:


Rice always pairs well with grilled shrimp. If you want a little sauce with your rice, double the marinade. Cook down the extra marinde in a saucepan. Before serving stir the cooked rice into the sauce and serve.

Green Salad also pairs well with this dish. A little lettuce, grape tomatoes, cucumber slices along with some cilantro dressing and you have a salad.

Roasted Veggies. Veggies like asparagus, yellow squash or brussel sprouts roasted on the grill are always a favorite.
