Notes:

Using a Flip Belgian Waffle Maker cooks them to a perfectly crisp outside and soft, fluffy inside each time.  They have deep pockets perfect for filling with fruit, meat, jams, whipped cream, and other toppings.   We use a Cuisanart Waffle Iron and it takes a little under 3/4 c. of batter per waffle.  I have my eye on a Double Flip Belgian Waffle Maker.  My single Cuisanart has been so reliable and consistent I am most likely going to stick with Cuisanart.  As the family keeps growing, I have more and more hungry mouths at the table!
